Set the Material

In this step, the molding process and analysis sequence are confirmed and the thermoplastic material used to make the part is selected.

1. Click (Home > Molding Process Setup > Thermoplastics Injection Molding) to see the other molding processes that are available. Keep Thermoplastics Injection Molding as the molding process.

2. Click (Home > Molding Process Setup > Analysis Sequence) to see the analysis sequences that are available. Ensure that the analysis sequence is Fill.

3. Click (Home > Molding Process Setup > Select Material).

4. Select Generic Shrinkage Characterised Material as the Manufacturer.

5. Select Generic ABS as the Trade Name.

6. Click OK
