Create a Project

In this task, you create a project, import the study, and set the Analysis Sequence.

Download the files for this tutorial from Autodesk Knowledge Network-New User Quick Start tutorial.

1. Click Start and Learn > Launch > New Project.

2. On the new project dialog box, Enter the project name Quick Start FEM Cooling Analysis then click OK.

3. Click (Home tab > Import panel > Import).

4. Navigate to the location of the tutorial file you downloaded.

5. Select the file mousecover_4cavity.sdy and click Open.

   

6. Click (Home tab > Molding Process Setup panel > Analysis Sequence).

7. Select Cool(FEM).

   Note: If you do not see an analysis sequence, click More to see all that are available for the molding process.

8. Click OK.

You are now ready to create the cooling system.
