To Generate Supports with Scripts

Use a stored and configured sequence of support-generating actions on a selection of parts

1. Select the part to be supported.
2. Choose Main Menu > Prepare > Generate Support.
3. In the context view, click Run Support Script.
4. From the appearing list, select an existing entry and click Execute.
5. Wait for the generation to finish.
6. In the context view, click Apply support.

Netfabb has now generated and attached supports to the part.

Tip

In case you already have a support script that you know to be suitable for your part without further adjustment, you may run it directly without invoking the full support module:

1. Select your part.
2. Choose Main Menu > Prepare > Run Support Script.
3. Select a script from the appearing list and click Execute.
