To Manage Block Libraries on the Blocks Palette

Add a Block Library

1. Click Window menu > Blocks.
2. Select the Block Libraries pane to display..
3. Click Manage Libraries.

   The Manage Content Libraries dialog box displays.

4. Click + below the list of libraries and type a name for the block library.
5. Click + below the Blocks area.
6. Navigate to the block library drawing.
7. Select the block library drawing and click Open.
8. Select one of the following when prompted:
   • This drawing is one block. The drawing is added as a single block definition to the block library.
   • This drawing contains multiple blocks. The individual blocks contained in the drawing are added to the block library.
9. Continue adding blocks to the block library as needed.
10. Close the Manage Content Libraries dialog box.

Remove a Block Library

1. Click Window menu > Blocks.
2. Select the Block Libraries pane to display..
3. Click Manage Libraries.

   The Manage Content Libraries dialog box displays.

4. Select the block library you want to delete.
5. Click - below the list of libraries.
6. Confirm the deletion.
7. Close the Manage Content Libraries dialog box.
