When a frame member is created, you can edit the standard, family, size, material, appearance, and orientation in the context of the assembly where the frame member resides.
Start in the assembly environment with an assembly model built previously in Frame Generator.

On the ribbon, click
Design tab
Frame panel
Change .
- Use the drop-down menus for Standard, Family, Size, Material, and Appearance to change their values.
- To change the orientation, select a radio button to position the frame member and note its location in the graphics window. Only one radio button for each frame member is active at any one time. As you select the radio buttons, the vertical and horizontal offsets and mirror adjust accordingly.
In Vertical Offset, select, or enter a value for the vertical distance between the frame member and the model.
In Horizontal Offset, select, or enter a value for the horizontal distance between the frame member and the model.
Select or enter a new angle of rotation for the orientation of the frame member.
Check the Align box to select a geometry (planar face, linear edge, work axis, work plane or sketch line) to which an inserted frame is aligned to.
Optionally, select Mirror to change the orientation to the opposite direction.
Note: The Mirror option is not available if multiple frame members are selected or for curved frame members.

Click Select. In the graphics area, click the frame member that you want to change.
- Optionally, select the Copy properties eye dropper in the dialog and then a frame member to copy the properties and orientation. The properties are copied to the previously selected members. You can continue to select additional frame members to apply the changes to.
- Click Apply.
- Continue to modify frame members as needed, and then click OK.
