Grooving (PartMaker)

When using grooving, you can:

• Set default grooving options using the Groove Options Defaults dialog.
• Set offsets for grooving using the First Offset No and Second Offset No fields in the Tool Data dialog for groove tools.
• Select the type of groove (Rectangular or General) for a grooving profile group on the Profile Group Parameters, Turn dialog. The options displayed on this dialog vary depending on the type of groove you are creating:
  • Profile groups for Grooving cycles - Rectangular groove
  • Profile groups for Grooving cycles - General groove
• Create grooves at an angle.
