Select the Analysis menu > Calculation Options and open the Longitudinal Reinforcement tab. The following dialog displays. (A similar dialog displays after selecting the Transversal Reinforcement tab).
You can select the following parameters of reinforcing steel used in the column design:
- steel grade
- characteristic strength
- Bar Diameter List - list of reinforcement bar parameters to be used during calculations.
Each diameter is accompanied with the column cross section area.At the end of this list a non typical diameter can be defined.
For Eurocode 2, you can also select a stress-strain relation used in calculations.
Note: After saving modified parameters of the calculation options you can use a new diameter list in other projects.
