About Importing Styles and Settings

You can update styles and settings in the current drawing by importing from a drawing template (DWT) or a drawing (DWG).

Note: If you want styles to stay synchronized with the styles in a drawing template, you can attach one or more reference templates to your drawings. For more information, see About Using Reference Templates to Manage Styles.

A style must be imported if it has a dependency on another style or setting that is selected to be imported. These styles are shown as selected and grayed out.
