About Plots
Plot objects in Autodesk Civil 3D are typically used to represent real estate plots, such as plots in a subdivision.
About Plot Components
A plot boundary is a closed polygon. The points where line segments join are called nodes. There are two segment types: line and curve.
About Site Plots
Associated with every site is a site plot. The site plot boundary is the outermost extent of a site, containing all alignments, gradings, and plots. Objects within a site plot do not have to touch.
About Plot Styles
Use styles to control the appearance of plots, their labels, and their tables.
About Plot Settings
Use Plot settings to specify default styles and other default properties for new plots.
About Plot Properties
Use Plot properties to view or edit details of existing plots.
