You can modify the position and target of a light after it has been placed in a scene, or remove a light that is no longer needed.
Modify the Position of a Light
Select a light glyph in the drawing area.
Alternatively, click Visualize tabLights panelDialog box launcher. Find In the Lights in Model palette, select the light whose position you want to modify. While you can select a distant light, the position of a distant light can't be modified from the drawing area. Use the Properties palette to modify a distant light's From Vector property.
Click the light's Position grip.
The Position grip is at the top of a spotlight, and at the center of a point light or weblight.
Drag the grip to the new location and click to reposition the light.
Note: A target point light, spotlight, or weblight rotates as it is repositioned to maintain its aim at the target. If you want to modify both the position and target values of a light, use the MOVE command and not the Position grip.
