You can generate PLC drawings automatically from a spreadsheet, database, or comma-delimited text file.
The PLC information, including PLC modules and connected components, can be read from a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, Access database table, or a comma-delimited text file. A single data file can generate multiple drawings.
You can define the following settings to control how the drawings are generated:
- Drawing template
- First drawing name
- Ladder settings
- PLC style
- Placement for in-line components
- Spreadsheet format
To use these settings each time you run the PLC I/O utility, you can save them to a .wdi file.
