To Create a Named Page Setup

A named page setup specifies settings such as the plot area, paper size, and scale, which determine the appearance of a plotted or published output.

Note: Instead of creating a named page setup from scratch, you can import a named page setup from a drawing that is properly setup for plotting or publishing.
  1. Click Output tabPlot panelPage Setup Manager. Find
  2. In the Page Setup Manager, Page Setups area, click New.
  3. In the New Page Setup dialog box, enter a name for the new page setup.
  4. Under Start With, select a page setup close to the settings you want, and click OK.
  5. In the Page Setup dialog box change settings as required:
    1. In the Printer/Plotter section, specify the default plotter to use while plotting or publishing.
    2. In the Paper Size list, select the default paper size to use for plotting or publishing.
    3. In the Plot Area section, specify which area of the drawing to plot.
    4. In the Plot Scale box, specify the scale to use.
Note: If you select Layout as the Plot Area, the layout is plotted at 1:1 scale, regardless of the plot scale you specify.
    5. In the Drawing Orientation section, set the orientation.
Note: To rotate the drawing by 180 degrees, select Plot Upside-Down.
  6. Click OK.

The new page setup is displayed in the Page Setups list in the Page Setup Manager.
