To Configure Text Height and Color for Section Labels (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

  1. At the Command prompt, enter AMOPTIONS.
  2. In the Options dialog box, click the AM:Standards tab.
  3. In the Standard Elements list, expand the Section View node.
  4. Double-click the current section view style. The Modify Section View dialog box appears.
  5. To change the section line and section view label text heights, in the Text section, in the Height list, select the text height.
    Note: To derive the text height from the master text settings automatically, select the text height marked “By NameOfCurrentDraftingStandard".
  6. To change the section view label text attributes:
    • In the View Label tab, specify the text color and text height.
      Note: To derive the text height from the base text height specified by the master settings of the drafting standard, select the text height marked “By NameOfCurrentDraftingStandard".
  7. To change the section view identifier text attributes:
    • In the Identifier and arrows tab, specify the text color and text height.
      Note: To derive the text height from the base text height specified by the master settings of the drafting standard, select the text height marked “By NameOfCurrentDraftingStandard".
  8. Click OK until all dialog boxes close.
Note: If the current section view style is not an AutoCAD Mechanical toolset section view style, the “By NameOfCurrentDraftingStandard" option is not available.
