AMFILLET2D (Command)

Fillets an edge or connects two nonparallel lines or arcs by extending them or trimming them to join with a rounded edge.

You can use this command on arc objects, line objects, construction lines (ray and xline objects), or polyline objects.

List of Prompts

The following prompts are displayed.

Object

Creates a fillet by connecting two lines, two arcs, or a line and an arc, with a rounded edge. Select the first of the objects required to define the rounded edge.

Second Object
Specifies the second of the two objects required to define the rounded edge.
Apply corner
Connects the two objects without adding a rounded edge. You apply this option by shift-clicking (instead of clicking), at the time you are prompted to select the second object.
Create original lengths
Restores line or arc segments trimmed while creating the fillet. This prompt appears only if you fillet 2 line objects or 2 arc objects.

Polyline

Fillets all vertexes of a polyline you select.

Select polyline
Specifies the polyline to fillet.

Setup

Displays the Fillet dialog box, enabling you to specify the fillet radius. This option is displayed only if the AMFILLET2DTAB system variable is 0.

Dimension

Creates a dimension for a filleted edge.

Fillet arc
Select the fillet to dimension.
Dimension line location
Specifies the starting and endpoint of the dimension line.
