To Reset the Autonumbering Counter on the User Item Order (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

When the User Item order is active, and you add a hole to a hole chart, the hole label is derived from a counter that controls autonumbering.

To set autonumbering to continue from a specific hole:

1. In the drawing area, double-click the hole chart.
2. If the User Item column does not appear in the Hole Chart dialog box, click the Column Properties button, and select the User Item column for display, from the Column Properties dialog box.
3. In the Hole Chart dialog box, right-click the User Item cell from which to continue numbering.
4. Select Start Auto Numbering at.
5. Click OK in all dialog boxes. When you add a new hole to the hole chart, the program sets the user item to the next available unique number.
