Use this dialog box to hide or display objects by object type.
AutoCAD Mechanical toolset displays the Desktop Visibility dialog box in response to the AMVISIBLE command. If you invoke the command from model space , the dialog box contains the Object tab only. If you invoke the command from paper space the dialog box contains the drawing tab only.

Hides specified objects in layout. |

Unhide Unhides specified objects. |

Objects Controls the visibility of balloons, parts lists, parametric and reference dimensions, and viewport edges. |

Select Choose this option to specify which objects to hide or unhide by selecting them on screen. |

Except If you select All, this option allows you to exclude objects by selecting them on screen. |

Object Tab Hides specified objects in model space. |

Unhide Unhides specified objects. |

Objects Controls the visibility of geometry. |

Properties Controls the visibility of objects of a specific color, linetype, or layer. |

Select Choose this option to specify which objects to hide or unhide by selecting them on screen. |

Except If you select All, this option allows you to exclude objects by selecting them on screen. |
