To Lock and Visually Differentiate Inactive Layergroups (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

1. At the Command prompt, enter AMLAYVISENH.
2. In the Visibility Enhancements dialog box, Click On inactive layer groups.
3. Click Use color and lock.
4. In the adjacent drop-down list, select a color for inactive layer groups.
5. Click OK.
