To Configure Which Component Properties Are Visible (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

1. At the Command prompt, enter AMOPTIONS.
2. In the Options dialog box, select the AM:Standards tab.
3. In the Standard Elements list, double-click BOM. The BOM Settings dialog box is displayed.
4. Select the tab corresponding to the entity you want to make the property visible in:
   • To make the property visible in Parts Lists, click the Parts List tab.
   • To make the property visible in Part References or the Component Properties dialog box, click the Component Properties/Part Reference tab.
   • To make the property visible in the BOM only, click the BOM tab.
     Note: When you add a component property to the Parts List or the Component Properties/Part Reference tab, the program adds it automatically to the BOM tab as well.
5. In the Available component properties list, click the row heading of the component property to make it visible, and then click Add to. The program adds the component property to the bottom of the list in the tab.
   Note: The Add to button is unavailable if the selected component property already appears in the list.
6. Use the Move up or Move down buttons to position the property.
7. Click OK.
