- Select drawing border Temporarily hides the wizard so you can specify the drawing border area.
Note:
Click the button again to reselect the drawing border. However, the scale and tolerance are not cleared. |
|
Normalizing scale Specifies the scale used for the selected drawing border. This option is unavailable when AutoCAD Mechanical toolset can verify that the automatically detected scale value is reliable. The BOM Migration wizard uses this value to perform a process known as “normalizing”. |
|
Extraction tolerance Sets the allowance for inaccuracies, small gaps, and misalignment between objects. This value you set here is used for all subsequent steps in this wizard, as well as the BOM Migration wizard. For example, when you select the drawing border, the wizard expects to find a rectangular closed contour. Say that the drawing border contains a gap, and the extraction tolerance is set to 0.5 drawing units. If the gap is smaller than 0.5 drawing units, the wizard ignores the gap. If the gap is larger than 0.5 drawing units, the wizard cannot find a closed contour and hence reports that no drawing border was found. |
