To Restructure Components in the Mechanical Browser (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

1. In the mechanical browser, select the component you want to nest under an assembly component, and drag it on to the assembly you want it to be a part of. The Component Restructure dialog box is displayed.
   Note: The Component Restructure dialog box is not displayed when all component views are accounted for.
2. From the Source Component Views list, drag each view to the corresponding parent view of the assembly in the Destination Component Views list.
3. Click OK.

Note:

• You can select multiple components for restructure, by pressing the CTRL or SHIFT key while selecting components.
• If you are restructuring components that are linked to each other (for example, shaft components and components involved in a screw connection), ensure that all of them are selected prior to dragging. Failing to restructure them together results in broken links.
