Use this dialog box to specify the component property to display in each column of the report.
Column Displays a list of columns used in the report. Because the report is displayed as a Microsoft Excel worksheet, the column names follow the Microsoft Excel column naming convention. |
Component Property Display the name of the component property to display in each column. Each cell contains a drop-down list that shows a list of component properties you can select from. If you do not select a component property for a Column, Microsoft Excel displays the column as a blank column. In addition to the component properties defined in the BOM Settings dialog box, the list contains special properties specific to reports. The names of these properties are displayed in upper case. These properties are: |
PARENT ITEM The name of the assembly under which the item is directly nested. |
ROW NUMBER Represents the row number of the report. |
ITEM TYPE Specifies if the item is a part, assembly or standard part. |
Unnamed Column Displays the component property mapping for special properties. Now only the 'PARENT ITEM' special property requires a component property mapping. |
Restore Defaults Resets the component property mappings to their default settings. |
