Select Graph Dialog Box (AMDEFLINE Command)

Use the Select Graph dialog box to set the curves for a deflection line or moment line. You can draw the component curve along Main Axis 1, the component curve along Main Axis 2, or the resultant curve of Main Axis 1 and Main Axis 2. You can also set the resolution for the resultant curve.

Graph Drawn in:
	Direction of Main Axis 1 Draws the curve of the deflection line or the curves of both the deflection and moment line along Main Axis 1.
	Direction of Main Axis 2 Draws the curve of the deflection line or the curves of both the deflection and moment line along Main Axis 2.
Result Draws the curve of the resultant deflection line or the curves of both the resultant deflection line and the resultant moment line.
Resolution of resultant curve Sets the resolution for the curve of the resultant deflection line or moment line.
Automatically Sets the resolution for the resultant curve automatically.
Number of Segments to Divide Defines the resolution for the resultant curve similar to how the VIEWRES system variable controls the resolution of arcs, splines and circles. This option is available only if the Automatically option is cleared.

Note:

• A section is the length of the beam from load/support/moment to the next moment/force/support.
• The maximum value for the number of sections is 30.
