FeatureCAM supports cut-grip tools that cut in both directions. To activate this support:
- Create a Turn feature.
Note: Using this tool on a Groove feature does not create specialized toolpaths.
- On the Strategy tab, set toolpath type to
Cut-grip to generate specialized rough and finishing strategies.
- Override the tool to a cut grip tool. This is a tool with the
Cutgrip grooving tool attribute selected.
- After cutting a part, measure the deflection, and set this parameter on the
Turning tab and regenerate toolpaths.
