To set a new shortcut key:
- Right-click the ribbon and select
Customize the ribbon.
- Select
Customize to display the
Customize Keyboard dialog.
- Select a category in the
Categories list.
- Select a command from the
Commands list.
If the command already has a shortcut, it is listed under
Current keys.
- To assign a new key, select the
Press new shortcut key field and press the keys that you want to use as the shortcut.
Note: Press the keys on the keyboard, for example, press and hold down the
Alt key and press the
N key; do not type
ALT + N.
The
Assigned to section is displayed to show if the keyboard shortcut you entered is already in use. Using this shortcut will remove it from the other item.
- Click the
Assign button to save the new shortcut.
Note: If you click
Assign after receiving a warning that the shortcut is already assigned to a command, the shortcut is removed from the existing command and assigned to the new command.
Remove — Click this button to remove the shortcut assigned to the selected command.
Reset All — Click this button to reset all shortcuts to the
FeatureCAM defaults.
