The toolpaths are on the wrong side of the surface — On the
Surface control tab, change the machining side to
Reverse using the
Cut direction
button.
Toolpaths should go the other direction or start at the other end of the surface — On the
Surface control tab, the
Start Curve column has the options of First Row,
Last Row,
First Col,
Last Col. Select the surface in the table and click the
Set isoline row/col
button to cycle through the options. The start point and direction of the first toolpath is marked with an arrow in the Graphics Window.
Performance is slow — If you do not need the
Avoid self-gougingmilling
option, turn it off.
Surfaces are cut in the wrong order — On the
Surface control tab, use the arrow buttons to rearrange the order of the toolpaths.
Toolpaths for a surface are reordered strangely — Select the operation in the feature’s tree view. Go to the
Milling tab. Deselect the
Reorder option.
