Guidelines
Sequence Publish-specific guidelines:
In previous versions, QuickTime Rec.709 content could display a slight gamma shift when viewed in a macOS ColorSync-managed applications—QuickTime Player, Safari, or Final Cut Pro X. This is also known as the ColorSync-QuickTime NCLC tag issue.
To solve this issue, use the new Media Export option for QuickTime movie files. The new ColorSync Compatible button only applies to Rec.709 content and doesn't affect other color spaces: it is perfectly safe to keep it enabled when you export to other color spaces.
The export presets for QuickTime and Final Cut Pro have been updated to have ColorSync Compatibility enabled by default.
When exporting DPX files from Media Export and a Write File node, the Transfer Type and the Colour Type metadata is now inherited from the content Colour Space tag.
You can override this by setting Transfer Type and Colour Type in Media Export.
FBX: You can now export FBX version 2020.2 files.
