Model contains external annotation elements

The model contains annotation elements, such as general dimensions or hole notes, that are not evaluated by the Tolerance Advisor.

Inventor supports both Tolerance Feature annotations (GD&T) and general 3D annotations in a model. The Tolerance Advisor uses the Tolerance Feature annotations and the General Profile Note to analyze the model tolerance information. Because general annotations can result in an over-constrained part or incorrect constraint state, they are reported in the advisor.

If you want to use both, we suggest that you add general 3D annotations after you add all the required tolerance annotations and are satisfied with the Tolerance Advisor messages.

To remove this message, delete the general annotations.

Tip: Create separate view representations for geometric annotations and general annotations.
