When you install Inventor, a default ribbon, browsers, marking menu, and tools are available for each work environment.
When you create a file or open an existing one, you also open the appropriate work environment for that file.
You can set options for setup and behavior of documents in Document Settings, and of the application in Application Options, and customize the work environment further.

Shortcuts are used primarily for transparent commands, such as zoom or pan, and for file utility functions, such as printing. You can see many predefined shortcut keys or command aliases when you pause the cursor over a command.
You can define your own shortcuts and command aliases, and you can import and export them as XML files.
