To Connect to Fusion 360

Use native Inventor files in Fusion 360.

What's New: 2022

Before you send your Inventor files to Fusion 360, you must:

• Sign in with your Autodesk ID
• Set up Fusion Team, or join a Fusion Team you have been invited to participate in as a project member.

You are entitled to a Fusion Team account with subscription to one of the following products: Fusion 360, Product Design and Manufacturing Collection, or Product Design Suite.

Send Inventor files to Fusion 360

1. In the part file ribbon, click EnvironmentsFusion 360Send to Fusion.
2. Sign in with your Autodesk ID.
3. Create a Team, or join an existing team.
4. Select the Team and Project.
5. • Click Upload New File if the file does not exist in the Fusion Team project.
   • Click Upload New Version if the file exists in the Fusion Team project.
6. After the file uploads to Fusion Team, you can:
   • Click View Inventor document in web browser to open in Fusion Team.
   • Click Open in Fusion 360 to continue to work on the file.
   • Click Close to finish.
