Create a Conveyor project on the development computer. An Autodesk.Conveyor.Inventor.Addin file in Doors.ETO file in C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Inventor 2019\Addins and the Conveyor folder in a separate location.
In Inventor, the .addin file contains the path to the project files. The files should be in a custom location. In this example, C:\Program Files\TestCo\Conveyor is used.
Note: This file contains full paths to the installed location of the project files. Paths must be applied on the target computer.
Ensure the Conveyor project works in Inventor.
Navigate to the Inventor ETO 2019/cdimage folder.
Double click on Setup.exe.
Make entries within the development UI.
Once the deployment is created, start the ETO Deployment Configurator. In the Deployment location field, navigate to the new deployment and select the link file.
Edit the Application Name and other fields you want to customize.
To include your branding images, use the Images tab to specify them.
Select Build. This process takes a few moments as the files copy.
Run a test install on a different nondeveloper computer. The test computer must have Inventor 2019 installed.
Start Inventor 2019 and follow these steps:
Make the Conveyor project active.
Create an assembly.
Use the ConveyorSystem.iam template and wait a few seconds until the Conveyor UI appears.
Select Add Section.
Note: A Conveyor section is added using the parameters in the custom parameters panel.
Change the length parameter.
Add Section again to add a section to the first with a different length.
