Specifies many of the names related to an application.
- Access
- On the Start menu, in All Programs, click Autodesk Autodesk Inventor OEM [version] OEM Configurator Names tab
- Active Project
- Browse to a project for your custom application, or click New to create a project. You can have one project, or a separate project for each custom application that you create.
- Names and File types
- Displays the file types of the templates that are available in the Quick Access Toolbar, New file drop-down list, and the New file dialog box.
- Product name
- Specifies the name of your application. The name you specify displays or is used:
- At the top of the main frame window.
- In the caption of some dialog boxes.
- In the Exit button in the application menu.
- When creating folders and registry keys during installation.
- Executable name
- The name of the executable file that starts your application. If you change the name in this field, the name of the executable in the "Inventor OEM 2014/bin" changes to match it.
- Document type
- Defines which file types are available in your custom application. Controls the contents of the New file drop-down list, and the New file dialog box.
- Custom display name
- Replaces the standard name that displays in the New file drop-down.
- Custom template
- Specifies the name of the default template to use for creating files of this type. The path is defined in the Application Options dialog box, so only the name is required here.
- Hidden
- When selected, blocks the file so that it does not display in the New file drop-down list or dialog box. Clear the check box to redisplay the file.
