You can filter point clouds by point classification, elevation, LiDAR intensity, and location on your map.
To filter point cloud data
- In the
Display Manager, right-click a point cloud layer and select
Filter Point Cloud.
- In the
Filter Point Cloud Dialog Box, in the
Filter By drop-down box, select one of the following filters:

Classification
-
Elevation
-
Intensity
-
Spatial
Note: Classification and Intensity are available only if the point cloud data has these properties.
- Click
Apply Filter.
The filtered points are displayed in your map.
To remove a filter from your point cloud data
- In the
Display Manager, right-click a point cloud layer and select
Filter Point Cloud.
- In the
Filter Point Cloud Dialog Box, in the
Filter By drop-down box, select the filter type you want to remove.
- Click
Clear Filter.
