Maya 2022.2 provides USD Extension for Maya version 0.11.0, which includes stability fixes, new features and performance improvements.

USD Extension for Maya version 0.11.0 includes stability fixes and added evaluation fixes such as: cards drawing mode in VP2 render delegate, patch curves drawn as wireframe in default material mode and color management support improvements. This version includes new features and performance improvements such as: unshareable stage support, Attribute Editor improvements (addition of metadata to prims), point instance selection, point snapping performance, as well as support for EXR textures and USDZ import.
- Attribute Editor: Newly, unshareable stage support now exists for proxyShape nodes in Maya. Start your procedural programming workflow by creating a stage and toggling the shareable/unshareable stage checkbox in the Attribute Editor and then continue your work with Bifrost Extension for Maya. - Layer Editor: Uneditable/ read-only layers now show as locked in the Layer Editor. See read-only layers in the USD Layer Editor contexual menu.
