A new Scaling section has been added to the Solidify deformer to let you resize tagged geometry.
Use the
Scale Mode settings in the
Solidify deformer options to determine how the deformation treats the geometry:
- Edge calculates the scale for each Component Tag "island", based on the relative change in edge length.
- Edge Global averages the scaling for all Component Tag islands and uniformly applies it the rigid pieces.

Scale envelope lets you to blend the effect.
Normal Scale and Tangent Plane Scale fields let you apply uniform offsets to the scale effect.
