To Set up and Render a Scene with the Autodesk Renderer

To set up and render a scene with the Autodesk renderer

  1. Click Render tab System panel Autodesk Rendering to open the Autodesk Rendering window.
  2. Set up the scene.
  3. On the ribbon, click the Ray Trace split button. You will see a check box next to the currently selected render style. The Low Quality and Coffee Break Rendering styles are the fastest to render and High Quality and Overnight Rendering are the slowest to render. Click the desired style to select it for your rendering. You can also customize the rendering settings on the Autodesk Rendering window Settings tab.
  4. Click Ray Trace to start rendering. Use the Pause button if you need to temporarily stop the process.

Real-time navigation is supported during the photorealistic rendering. This means, you can, for example, orbit, zoom, and pan your model. This restarts the rendering process. If you want to return to realistic visual style, click the Stop button.
