The Rendering toolbar is located at the top of the Autodesk Rendering window.
Use this toolbar to work with material mapping (recommended for the advanced users only), create and place lights, toggle the Sun and Exposure settings, and specify the location settings.

Material Mapping drop-down | Selects the type of material mapping to use on the selected model item, and switches mappings to reflect the mapping currently used on a selected model item. This feature is recommended for the advanced users only. | |
Planar | Selects the Planar material mapping type, and opens the Material Mapping tab with the default settings for it. | |
Box | Selects the Box material mapping type, and opens the Material Mapping tab with the default settings for it. | |
Cylindrical | Selects the Cylindrical material mapping type, and opens the Material Mapping tab with the default settings for it. | |
Spherical | Selects the Spherical material mapping type, and opens the Material Mapping tab with the default settings. Spherical mapping wraps an image onto a spherical object. | |
Explicit | Selects the default option to map data explicitly set from the source file's geometry. | |
Create Light drop-down | Lets you draw different light sources in the Scene View. | |
Point | Selects the Point Light tool, and opens the Lighting tab. | |
Spot | Selects the Spot Light tool, and opens the Lighting tab. | |
Distant | Selects the Distant Light tool, and opens the Lighting tab. | |
Web | Selects the Web Light tool, and opens the Lighting tab. | |
Light Glyph | Turns on and off the display of light glyphs in the Scene View. | |
Sun | Turns on and off the lighting effect of the sun in the current viewpoint, and opens the Environments tab. | |
Exposure | Turns on and off the exposure settings in the current viewpoint, and opens the Environment tab. | |
Location | Opens the Geographic Location dialog box, where you can specify the location information for a 3D model. This affects the sun's render results. |
