The process of measuring quantities of materials from models, drawings and specifications prepared by architects, engineers, and other designers is known as takeoff. In Autodesk Navisworks, takeoff is carried out using the Quantification feature. Quantification helps you automatically make material estimates, measure areas and count building components. You can estimate construction and renovation projects, so you spend less time counting and measuring and more time analyzing projects.
The Quantification feature is available for Autodesk Navisworks Manage and Autodesk Navisworks Simulate users.
