Process Parameters dialog – WireEDM (PartMaker)

When a wire process is selected in the Process Table, the following settings are available on the Process Parameters dialog:

Info — This area displays information about the process you have selected:

• Process ID — This is the ID of the selected process.
• Operation — The name of the selected operation.

Power — Enter the power setting for the selected process.

Offset — Enter the distance between the wire and the part.

Feed — Enter the wire feed rate.

Options

• Cut Wire — Select this check box if the wire must be cut at the end of this process.
• Remove Slug — Select this check box if the operator must remove the slug piece at the end of this process.

Note — Enter any note you want to be associated with the process.

User Data — Click to display the User Data dialog, where you can specify custom data (known as User Data) for the current Post Configuration file.
