To copy features to a new Feature Group entity

Use the Duplicate Selected item to create a new Feature Group entity which contains only the selected features from the active Feature Group.

To copy selected features to a new Feature Group:

1. Ensure the features you want to copy belong to the active Feature Group.
2. Press and hold the Shift key then graphically select the holes you want to copy.
3. Click Feature Group tab > Active panel > Duplicate > Duplicate Selected.

   A new Feature Group containing the selected features is added to the explorer. It has the same name as the original with _1 appended to it.
