Create a drilling method, and a process for centre drilling

This creates a new drilling method.

1. From the Drilling Methods category on the Strategy Selector dialog, select New Drilling Method and click OK.

   This displays the Drilling Methods dialog, with a default process and a Single Peck strategy already created by PowerMill.

   In the Processes area of the Drilling Methods dialog, click Process.

   1. In the Process Name box, enter a name of the process, in this case, Centre Drill.
   2. Press Enter to apply the name to the process.
   3. In the Selection area select a Select By of Diameter. This enables the Minimum and Maximum Diameter boxes.
   4. Enter a Minimum Diameter of 1.
2. In the Processes area, expand the Centre Drill process and select the default Single Peck strategy to display the Drilling Strategy dialog. On the Drilling Strategy dialog:
   1. Select a Cycle Type of Single Peck.
   2. Select a Define Top by of Hole Top.
   3. Select an Operation of Centre Drill.
   4. Enter a Depth of 0.2.
   5. Deselect Split Toolpaths.
   6. Click Close to exit the Drilling Strategy dialog.
