Features specifies the features you want to select for machining. By default all machinable features in a feature group are automatically selected. This tab is available only for feature machining and turning strategies.
The options displayed vary for feature machining and turning strategies.
Create feature group — Creates and activates a new feature group.
— Select the feature group with the features you want to machine. Selecting a feature group makes it the active feature group.
Feature hierarchy — Displays the
2D Feature Hierarchy dialog. This displays the parent-child relationships of the features within the feature group. Additionally this enables you to quickly identify issues that prevent a feature group from being machined.
Edit feature group — Displays the
Feature Editor tab. This enables you to create and edit features within the feature group.
Feature machining strategies
Select features — Displays the number of selected features that are machinable in the selected feature group. Click a feature in the graphics window or use the buttons to select the features you want to machine.

Select all — Click to select all features.

— Click to deselect the selected features and select the deselected features.

Deselect all — Click to deselect all features.
Turning strategies
Select features — Select a single turning feature from the list. You can only generate a toolpath for a single turning feature at a time.
