Mirroring curves in a line example

This example shows you how to mirror curves using a user-defined mirror plane, using the Curve Editor tab. It uses the Keep Original option so that you can easily see the effect of the transformation.

  1. Select the curves you want to mirror (selected curves are yellow).

  2. Click Curve Editor tab > Edit panel > Transformations > Mirror to display the Mirror toolbar.
  3. Click , the cursor changes to .
  4. Press the mouse button to show the start of the mirror line and drag it to the end point of the mirror line.

  5. Release the mouse button to define the mirror plane and mirrors the selected curves.

Note: You can also mirror selected items by clicking on a single straight line. You do not have to click first.
