Non-uniform scaling resizes selected objects in a non-uniform manner, allowing you to choose the scaling to be applied for each axis. Arcs are converted to curves and primitive surfaces to power surfaces by default.
To non-uniformly scale an object:
- Select the objects to scale.
Tip: To scale a workplane with the objects, select the workplane after starting selecting the scale option.
- Click Edit tab > Transform panel > Scale.
The
Scale toolbar and the scale origin marker are displayed.
- Move the scale origin as required.
- To keep the original object, click
.
- From the drop-down list, select
Non-Uniform. The toolbar is updated to show scale factor boxes for X, Y and Z:
- Enter a scaling factor for each axis.
Tip: If scaled arcs are to remain as arcs, use the
Uniform option
- To lock the scaling factor of any axis to
1, click on the appropriate lock
button.

Apply
to accept the changes or
