Top-piece shapes (with reference surface)

Use the Top-piece shapes tab to edit the heel top-piece shapes. This option is available only when you work with a reference surface.

1. Choose a top-piece shape: Select:

   Two arcs to create a heel shape defined by two arcs.

   Trapezoid to create a heel shape defined by a trapezoid.

   Ellipse to create a heel shape defined by an ellipse.

   Two arcs and two lines to create a heel shape defined by two arcs and two lines.

   Four arcs to create a heel shape defined by four arcs.

   Default to create a default heel shape.

   The parameters for the top-piece shape are displayed.

2. Enter values or drag the sliders to customize the shape of the top piece.
3. Select Create curves to trace pieces to create curves along the edges of the heel. Use these curves to create pieces on the heel; such as a heel cover or a Louis heel effect.
