3 Point Radius dimensions are ideal for dimensioning the radius of curvature on a surface or curve.
To create a radius dimension using three points:
- Click Annotation tab > Dimension panel > Radial > 3 Point Radius.
The Dimension toolbar is displayed. This can be used to edit attributes of the new dimensions, such as the annotation text.
- Click the first position to define the start point of an arc:
- Click the second position to define the end point of an arc:
- Click the third position to define a position on the circumference of the arc:
- Move the cursor and click to specify the position of the annotation and add the dimension:
