You can edit a feature in one of the following ways:
Editing a feature using the Edit tab
You can use the
Move,
Rotate,
Mirror, Scale and
Pattern
options from the
Edit tab on most features.
Note: You cannot apply these commands to some features, such as the fillet feature.
PowerShape automatically deselects such features when you begin the edit command.
To edit a feature using the Edit tab:
- Select the solid containing the feature.
- Click Manage tab > State panel > Tree to display the Tree Window.
- Select a feature in the Tree Window.
- Click Edit tab > Transform panel, and choose from:
- Move
- Rotate
- Mirror
- Scale (Uniform scaling only)
- Pattern
You can also use the Edit tab > Mode panel > Item/Sub-Item to switch between editing the item (the solid) or sub-item (the solid feature).
Note: When applying some Edit tab > Transform panel options to features, solid transform features are created.
To permanently delete a feature, select it in the graphics window or feature tree, and press
Delete on the keyboard.
