To create a Parallel dimension between two parallel lines:
- Click Annotation tab > Dimension panel > Parallel.
The Dimension toolbar is displayed. This can be used to edit attributes of the new dimensions, such as the annotation text.
- Select a line.
Note: Ensure you do not click any key points. If you click a key point by mistake, start from Step 1 again.
- Select another line or click a point.
Note: If you click a point, the dimension is measured perpendicular from the line to the point.
- Move the cursor and click to specify the position of the annotation and add the dimension:
