  2. On the Class or Geometry Mapping tabs, in the left pane, right-click the class name, and click Copy Mapping Details.

Note: To remove a right-pane row, delete all values.

To adjust class mappings

  1. In the Spec Editor, on the File menu, click ConvertSettings.
  2. On the Class Mapping tab, in the left pane, click a global mapping or an individual class.
  3. In the right pane, do the following as needed (for more information and examples, see About Global and Class Properties):
    • In the Plant3D Matching Class Name drop-down list, click a name (individual class mapping only).
    • In the Plant3D Property Name column, enter a new name or modify an existing name.
Note: If you add a property name that does not exist in Plant3D, a new property is added.
    • In the External Property Name column, enter a new name, modify an existing name, or enter a value.
    • In the Match or Apply column, enter Match if you are matching property names or enter Apply if you are applying a value to a 3D property.
Note: You can override a global mapping by specifying a different mapping at the individual class level. The specific class mapping (for example: ConnectionPortCount set to 3) takes precedence over the global mapping (ConnectionPortCount set to 2).
  4. Click Apply.
