Structure correction

Open the Structure Correction dialog, which lets you correct the geometry of a defined structure, using either of the following:

Structures created in Robot or imported from *.dxf and *.igs files, might need some modifications (such as deleting or merging overlapping or nearby nodes). You can use the Structure Correction dialog to make such changes.

Note: If you import structure geometry saved in *.dxf or *.igs files, all the properties (materials and bar sections) as well as load definitions must be defined in the Robot, because these parameters are not saved in DXF or IGES formats.

The dialog box has the following options:

The first 3 options determine which elements of the structure are covered by the operation and how the correction will be made (such as, merging several almost overlapping nodes into one, creating additional nodes and bars in 3D bar structures, when bars are too close to each other). The last option (precision) defines the range of corrections to be performed on a structure.
