Use this option to define additional code parameters for the steel member type. Access it clicking the More button in the Member Definition - Parameters dialog.
You can specify the following additional member parameters in this dialog:
- section parameters (An / Ag and Anf / Ag ratios)
- value of the correction factor kt; click the icon to open the Correction factor kt dialog
- conditions for round pipes. if the Pipes - unidirectional bending option is selected, Robot calculates - for this type of section - a bending moment which is a sum of moments acting along the Y and Z axes; this resultant moment is the basis for the member design.
